Who we are

We are members of Volunteer Committee for Project: Help Burma founded and initiated by concerned individuals and organizations from local community in San Francisco Bay Area. We've established it as a non-profit organization in 2009. The mission of Project: Help Burma is to help promote welfare of Burmese people living inside Burma. The proceeds will target to address basic and vital needs of Burmese population inside Burma who desperately need help with food, health care, shelter and so on. Our vision or great hope is to be able to help them with those basic needs steadily and to step up to expand help in public education and other important social changes and developments for people of Burma.

On Jan-22-2022 event, you will enjoy authentic Burmese dishes prepared by our community volunteers and donors filled with warming cultures, rich tastes and most importantly loving metta. Please come be a part of this big family to make a huge difference in other lives.

Entertainment

On Jan-22-2012 event, the entertainment program will include diverse and rich cultures of Burma.
The performers are our Burmese youth from SF Bay Area and local community members.
        Moreover, we will feature a solo show of a Burma's famous singer, Ma Yadanar Oo, who will sing and support for the event free.
We hope to see you all there.

You will also enjoy Burmese traditional dances like Gabja Lu' Dance ( A dance solely accompanied by rhythmic beats without lyrics), Dou: Ba' Dance ( A short drum dance which is slung from the neck when it is played.) and so on.
These activities culminate in the presentation of the cultural appreciation and the unity for all with the common aim of promoting welfare of Burma.
